Bio:

Manabí was formed in 2011. We are an 11 piece salsa band based out of Fort Collins, Colorado. Our primary music styles are salsa, merengue, cumbia, cha-cha-cha, and latin jazz. Our goal is to give northern Colorado something new and fresh: authentic latin/salsa music that’s fun to play and makes people want to move.

The founder, Achilles Quiroga hailing from Ecuador, also plays in the local heavy metal band, Blood Pollution. Half of the band teaches music at local schools, and the other half are frequently featured in the local music scene (Patti Fiasco, Choice City Seven, 12 Cents For Marvin).

We're proud to be the first and only local salsa band in Northern Colorado. Manabí is passionate about the music we play, and we want to make Fort Collins dance.
